I am seriously the worst blogger ever!

Even my business blog, Meant To Be Wed has been on hiatus for a while now.  I have great intentions, but, well, I've just been too busy, and to be honest, it's not high on my priority list right now.  What is, you ask?  Umm... with Christmas is just 2 days now (yikes!) - I am STILL making (ie. sewing & baking) our Christmas gifts.   I had the idea back this summer when a group of EFFers decided to do a handmade Christmas.  I thought, back then - "no problem! It'll be fun!"   Fast forward a few months, after having a busy fall - and now, here I sit with the sewing machine and Christmas music on Pandora (so it gives me a variety of stuff, including things I may not have heard before - or iTunes, if I prefer to select exactly what I want to hear).  I am one of those people with serious ADD.  I can be easily distracted by just about anything.  Even a dirty oven has called me on occasion when I had other more important things to do! (Sadly - our oven is very dirty these days & often sets off the fire alarm if it gets hotter than 400!)

What am I making?  Umm...various things.  I have a whole list of stuff for people.  Will it get done?  Some of it.  Some has already been crossed off in red (meaning, it's just not gonna happen this year) - and thankfully, some of it is crossed off in black (done!).  I'm sorry for those who don't live nearby & are expecting gifts from us.... they will be Epiphany gifts! :)   And - I'll post photos of the gifts - but AFTER the receiver has them in hand! I don't want to spoil it for them!

I'd totally love to rewind back to July - and just started saving the money back then to BUY the handmade gifts off of Etsy or local sellers!  But, alas, I didn't save the money, and there is none to go out to quickly buy what isn't going to get made! So - I must hurry.

Remind me in February to put next years Christmas list together and work on projects throughout the year - instead of waiting until the week of Christmas!!! :)

Oh - and one more thing....my little sister Sharon (from the blog Following the Way Home) & her husband Brad are traveling back to Ethiopia, leaving on Monday.   Please pray for them as they travel and help out with Team Tasfa with FOVC Ethiopia over there.  They'll be there for about 2 weeks.  What I am really looking forward to, though, is seeing photos of all the little girls receiving their dresses!!!!  I really wish I could be over there to help distribute - but I hope Sharon & Brad and the others are able to lots of photos!
